From time to time, the media in Greece remember that together with Asimakis and Iakovos (my boys), we reached the northernmost tip of the Earth in Longyearbyen and Pyramiden. Another short on-the-street interview… but with a new story behind the “cameras.” Me – in October 2025 – I was driving through rugged areas in a car, replacing the actor, and the cameras were usually pointed… at the actor of course! But luck had it that the two of us – actor and stuntman duo – ended up in a parking lot on the Egnatia highway for refueling. There, for the needs of the quick connection to the channel, I gave him my phone to use as a camera and took his to talk to the control room of the TV show. We were laughing at how the roles had reversed, but in the end, they yelled at us because we delayed the shoot by half an hour… and there we were laughing again!

Σε τακτά χρονικά διαστήματα θυμούνται τα media στην Ελλάδα ότι μαζί με τον Ασημάκη και τον Ιάκωβο (τα παιδιά μου) φτάσαμε μέχρι την Βόρεια άκρη της Γης στο Longyearbyen και το Pyramiden. Άλλη μια σύντομη συνέντευξη στο δρόμο… αλλά με καινούργια ιστορία πίσω από τις ¨’κάμερες” . Εγώ -Οκτώβρη του 2025- οδηγούσα σε δύσβατες περιοχές ένα αυτοκίνητο αντικαθιστώντας τον ηθοποιό, και οι κάμερες ήταν συνήθως στραμμένες επάνω … στον ηθοποιό. Η τύχη όμως τα έφερε να βρεθούμε οι δυό μας -ντουέτο ηθοποιός και στάντμαν- σε πάρκινγκ της Εγνατίας για ανεφοδιασμό σε καύσιμα. Εκεί για τις ανάγκες της σύντομης σύνδεσης με το κανάλι- του έδωσα το κινητό μου για κάμερα και να πήρα το δικό του για να μιλάω με το control room της τηλεπτικής εκπομπής. Γελάγαμε που αντεστράφησαν οι όροι, αλλά τελικά μας έβαλαν τις φωνές γιατί αργήσαμε μισή ώρα στο γύρισμα… κι εκεί γελάγαμε πάλι!
